ST DOMINIC’S SPONSORSHIP

OVERVIEW:

TROW Group’s relationship with St Dominic’s College began in a very personal way. The founders’ daughters both attend the school, and in 2024, they were proudly named in the Prem 1 Netball team. That moment marked the beginning of the company’s sponsorship journey with St Dominic’s, providing an opportunity to support the team and engage more deeply with the school community.

The decision to sponsor the Prem 1 netball team reflects the TROW Group founders’ passion for creating opportunities for Pacific and Māori youth. Sport is a powerful way to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills, which carry through into everyday life. Supporting programmes that help young women develop these qualities aligns with the company’s values and commitment to fostering growth, both on and off the court.

So far, TROW Group’s contributions have included donations for raffles, providing training tees, and helping the team with travel tracksuits. These forms of support provide practical benefits and foster a sense of pride and unity among the players as they represent their school.

For TROW Group, this sponsorship reinforces the belief that the future of Aotearoa rests with its young people. By backing initiatives that support physical and mental well-being through sport, the company contributes to a brighter future for the community. Observing the team compete with determination and confidence highlights the positive impact of community support and affirms the company’s commitment to initiatives like this.

Looking ahead, TROW Group hopes that the legacy of this year’s team and those who paved the way before them continues to grow. The company aims to see netball and all sports at St Dominic’s flourish, creating pathways for young women to achieve their goals. The TROW Group also hopes its sponsorship encourages other businesses to engage with the school, supporting young people and building a stronger, more connected community.
