Phil Twyford Visit 2024

OVERVIEW:

In early March 2024, we were honored to host MP Phil Twyford for a day filled with meaningful conversations and discussions about the future of the Waste and Infrastructure sector in Aotearoa. The focus was on creating pathways for greater collaboration and ensuring that sustainability and a circular economy are fully integrated into decision-making processes across the country. 

We saw this as the perfect opportunity to involve MP Twyford, given his significant community contributions during the recovery efforts in Tamaki Makaurau following Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023. As part of this collaboration, we had the privilege of having him click ‘PUBLISH’ to officially launch our Muriwai Website—a symbolic moment reflecting the start of something new and impactful. 

The conversations we shared that day were invaluable, as they allowed us to weave our vision of innovation and sustainability with the support of influential figures like MP Twyford. His commitment to forward-thinking goals aligns perfectly with our mission to grow while ensuring that our people and communities are brought along on this journey.
