We were so excited to have attended the Pacific Business awards last week! What a night it was being in a room filled with other Pasifika businesses putting their best foot forward for our people and our communities. These are the moments we remember as pacific businesses – it’s a time to be inspired, and share each other’s stories and lineage.

After listening to the inspiring acceptance speeches you start to envision the future for our people, and you become excited for what’s to come! It was truly a beautiful moment for all businesses and an unforgettable night for all Pacific people!This year we

were up for:

• The Langa Fonua Award for Pacific Excellence in Construction and Trades
• The Arataki Award for Leadership in the Pacific Community

We were so proud to have been up for these awards alongside other amazing entrepreneurs in Aotearoa. All though we were unsuccessful in taking out both awards, we couldn’t have been more proud of all the winners doing the most for our people! At the end of the day, any win is a win for the pacific!

Big congratulations to PBT for another successful awards night, we always love attending as the atmosphere and food are always unmatched! This year we sent our awesome Open Classroom Manager Lili and Site Assessor Margrette! They raved the next day about how awesome it felt to be submerged into an environment celebrating brown excellence! Thank you to all the awesome performances which played in addition to the spectacular pacific vibes in the room! There was never a moment of dullness with Ma’a Brian Sagala as the MC, your finesse, humor, and poise are top-tier, so we thank you the most for that!
