Lewis Swann

Assistant Project Delivery

Lewis William Swann carries with him a rich blend of cultures, experiences, and perspectives that shape his journey at TROW Group. Born in Warrington, England while his father played professional rugby league, his roots are firmly planted in Aleisa and Afiamalu in Samoa and in Te Atiawa of Taranaki, Aotearoa. These foundations remind him that identity is like a vaka, strengthened by many hands and guided by collective wisdom.

Before joining TROW, Lewis worked across finance, marketing, student services, and human resources, while also spending time overseas playing rugby union in England. He has also laboured in construction and building, giving him both practical know-how and analytical strengths. This combination allows him to navigate different spaces, weaving together numbers, processes, and people with confidence. His journey reflects the Neasian experience of standing firmly in both worlds, honouring heritage while engaging in modern industries.

At TROW Group, Lewis thrives on the variety and unpredictability of each day. From one site to another, no two days are ever the same. He has quickly learned the importance of forward planning, not just for tomorrow, but for weeks and months ahead, while remaining agile enough to adapt when plans change. This combination of preparation and flexibility has become central to his approach to project delivery.

During his journey, Lewis is focused on deepening his understanding of the business side of deconstruction, with an eye toward using his strengths in analytics and finance to create efficiencies and lasting impact for the company. Guided by the whakataukī “Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi, engari he toa takitini” and its Samoan counterpart “O le tele o sulu e maua ai figota, e mama se avega pe a taamo fa’atasi,” both reminding him that true success comes from collective effort, Lewis remains committed to teamwork and community.

Lewis’s journey is one of balance, between tradition and modernity, between planning and adaptability, and between individual drive and collective strength. It is this balance that he brings to his role at TROW Group, helping the team deliver projects that honour the past while building a sustainable future.
